For one of our key Clients we're looking for an expert specialist for the position of:
Senior Data Governance Consultant
Terms of engagement:
Area: Consulting IT (project for the EU Public Area)
Localisation: 100% remote
Start: ASAP (max 1 month notice period)
Salary rate (determined individually): 180 - 200 PLN net + VAT / h
Terms: B2B (outsourcing via 1dea), full-time, long-term
Recruitment process (100% remotely):
- Phone "hello" interview with 1dea recruitment consultant (~10 min)
- Technical and business conversation with our Client (approx. 1,5 hour)
- Decision to cooperate
Scope of duties:
- You'll support the implementation of a modern data architecture and data governance framework, identifying areas for improvement in policies, processes, and tool utilization (e.g., MS Purview testing). You'll also identify data custodians to manage data assets.
- You'll leverage your experience in data governance methods, tools, and best practices. This includes designing data architecture, managing master data, and developing data governance frameworks, policies, and processes.
- You'll effectively manage data governance projects, coordinating tasks and ensuring timely delivery.
- Excellent communication (written and spoken English) and organizational skills are crucial for collaborating with stakeholders and keeping projects on track.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of international data governance best practices (like DAMA/DMBok) and common data governance software tools (MS Purview experience a plus).
Requirements:
Experience (6+ years):

Data Governance Expertise: Proven experience with methods, tools, and techniques.

Data Architecture: Skilled in designing, developing, or improving data architecture.

Master Data Management (MDM): Experience in developing and/or maintaining the Master Data Management concept.

Project Management: Strong project management and task coordination skills.
Skills & Knowledge:

Communication & Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, written and spoken English (B2+).
Nice to have:
- Prior experience working with EU institutions or international organizations is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of international data governance best practices (DAMA/DMBok).
- Familiarity with common data governance software tools and applications.
- Experience with MS Purview (advantageous).
- Previous work experience with EU institutions or international organizations (advantageous).
