Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer interested in cooperating with an international company to facilitate the operations of our Data Scientist and Engineering team. Our client helps crypto investors build profitable portfolios using artificial intelligence-based crypto indices, rankings, and price predictions. They have a diverse set of customers from more than 50 countries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of Python, Java, or any programming language development experience
• 3+ years of SQL / No-SQL experience 
• Experience with C++ and R
• Experience with building Data Lake, Data Warehouse, or suitable equivalent
• Experience with AWS Cloud
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Capacity to successfully manage a pipeline of duties with minimal supervision

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field 
• Experience with Snowflake Cloud DW & MongoDB is a huge plus

Responsibilities

• Working closely with coworkers and clients to define the requirements for each task
• Conceptualizing and generating infrastructure that allows big data to be accessed and analyzed
• Reformulating and testing existing frameworks to optimize their functioning
• Building data pipelines from different data sources using different data types like API, CSV, JSON, etc
• Preparing raw data for manipulation by Data Scientists
• Implementing proper data validation and data reconciliation methodologies
