Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain kernel-level software components for operating systems.

- Analyze system requirements and performance metrics to optimize kernel code for efficiency, reliability, and security.

- Develop device drivers, file systems, and other kernel modules to support hardware and software integration.

- Debug and troubleshoot kernel-level issues, including memory management, process scheduling, and system crashes.

- Perform code reviews, write technical documentation, and provide guidance to junior engineers.

- Stay updated with the latest kernel development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Kernel Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of operating system internals.

- Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming languages.

- Knowledge of kernel development frameworks and tools (e.g., Linux Kernel, Windows Kernel, BSD Kernel).

- Experience with kernel debugging tools such as GDB, WinDbg, or KGDB.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
