About the role:


Develops, configures, documents, and maintains information security solutions. Installs and configures web proxies, intrusion detection systems, endpoint monitoring software, and similar security systems. Ensures that threats and vulnerabilities to the organization’s business systems and applications (both in-house and cloud-based) are minimized. Manages encryption protocols to protect the organization's data as well as management of authentication and access controls. Evaluates information security configurations when intrusions have occurred and monitors the effectiveness of implemented changes. Monitors overall compliance with security standards and conducts periodic security reviews.

  • Delivers secure solutions and/or secure remediation solutions for highly complex projects to the enterprise, applying NIST best practice methodology to solutions.
  • Installs tools to specifically secure each level within the security framework for highly complex projects.
  • Provides expert advice and leads discussions on new security technologies and trends while also being able to validate corporate conformance to industry standards utilizing set analysis criteria.
  • Provides support for regulatory audits, investigates intrusion incidents, conducts forensic investigations for highly complex projects and provides incident responses
  • Skills / Knowledge - Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept./peer review).
  • Job Complexity - Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside their own area of expertise.
  • Supervision - Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
  • Network Engineering - Guides others in their understanding of TCP/IP network connectivity, subnet segmentation, security zones, secure ports/protocols, network authentication/authorization, security tools and their applicability (WAF, IPS, Sandbox, etc.).
  • Vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments - Knowledge of vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments including prioritization. planning and remediation.
  • Technical industry acumen - Strong knowledge of Industry regulatory audit requirements and solutions and Authentication, authorization, and encryption solutions

About you:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: in Information Security or Computer Science preferred. Other majors will be considered.
  • Typically Minimum 6 Years Relevant Exp.
  • Advanced experience defining, implementing, and maintaining corporate security policy along with standards and procedures. Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats, Network access controls, as well as experience in Identity and access management principles.
  • Demonstrates an advanced technical background with Information Security accompanied with deep troubleshooting capabilities. Experience managing projects. Additional 4 years related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • One or more of the following-CISSP, CISA, CISM, PCI-QSA, PA-QSA, PCIP, CRISC, CGEIT
