As a Python Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, on a cutting-edge project aimed at automation and data product development. 

Your main responsibilities:

• Identifying opportunities for automation and designing/building end-to-end solutions
• Collaborating with stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements and develop optimal automation solutions and data products
• Working with the POD lead, the PO, Solution & Platform Architects to identify necessary changes and create/agree on stories
• Independently generating implementation options for complex requirements
• Coordinating and enforcing technical standards while aiding team members in Python development

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience, including at least 7 years of Python programming
• Solid expertise in Python (3.x), with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc.
• A design thinking mindset and the ability to conceptualize solution designs
• Experience with streaming data pipelines using PySpark, Apache Beam frameworks
• Familiarity with beam runners like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, GC dataflow, etc.
• Exposure to Reporting/Analytics tools like Qliksense/Qlikview
• Previous involvement in automating CI/CD pipelines within a DevOps Product/Service team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Knowledge of Microservices based architecture and patterns
• Fluent English
