Nortal invites a Backend Developer with DevOps experience for long-term and full-time employment at our service center in Krakow, Poland.

You will join a team of our client Energy Lab (https://energylab.be/). Energy Lab offers professional sports testing and coaching in its labs, through apps and online platforms. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Architect, build, and scale microservices within a distributed system architecture.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers for seamless integration.
• Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot issues.
• Deploy and maintain backend services on Azure, utilizing Kubernetes and Docker.
• Configure Nginx for load balancing and use Redis for caching.
• Integrate RabbitMQ for asynchronous message queuing.

Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Experience with microservices and cloud computing within the Azure ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Nginx, Redis, and RabbitMQ. (bonus)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Other preferred Qualifications

• CI/CD experience and knowledge of infrastructure as code tools.
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
